Posted 13. march 2015

The Bundesliga resumes this weekend after a thrilling round of European action, with six more cracking encounters. Wolfsburg had a massive 1st leg win over Inter 3:1 and so did Schalke, but unfortunetly this wasn't enough against the mighty Real Madrid. They won the game 4:3 thou.
- After a sensational 4-3 win at Real Madrid CF in the Champions League this week, Schalke's attentions now turn to returning to European football's most prestigious club competition next term. A point behind fourth, the Royal Blues are up against a Hertha side hovering dangerously above the drop zone.
- Revenge will be one of the motivations when Dortmund host Köln in Saturday's evening game. The Billy Goats inflicted a painful 2-1 defeat on BVB back in October, but Borussia have turned over a new leaf in 2015 and appear to be marching back towards the European places. Köln, meanwhile, are not quite safe yet.
- The final game of the weekend sees the Bundesliga's sole remaining UEFA Europa League participant host struggling Freiburg. After defeat in Augsburg lat weekend, the Wolves bounced back to beat FC Internazionale Milano on Thursday, but they could only draw this fixture 2-2 last season.
