Euroleague playoffs - Fenerbahce claims first Final Four spot!

The on-going excitement of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Playoffs continued Monday when Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul made club history by knocking out 2014 champion Maccabi and clinching its first Final Four ticket. Another team can join with a sweep Tuesday – if Real Madrid beats Anadolu Efes in Istanbul. After Monday’s games, home teams are 8 -2 in the playoffs this season. The home team set a Euroleague Playoffs record as Panathinaikos Athens bested CSKA Moscow 86-85 at home to prolong their best-of-five playoff series. CSKA leads the series 2-1 and can still clinch a Final Four spot in Game 4 on Wednesday in Athens. In the only series that is tied at 1-1, Olympiacos hosts Barcelona on Tuesday.
